South Grande Terre

The coast between Le Gosier and Sainte-Anne is very touristy and very developed, with a superb coastline. You will fly over its crystal clear waters sheltered by coral reefs and its magnificent white sand beaches surrounded by coconut trees.

The interior displays an astonishing relief, with its limestone plateau decorated with numerous hills and deep valleys covered with cultivated land. You will admire the “Garden of Grande Terre”.

Ilet de Fajou

The islet in Fajou is part of the Grand Cul-de-sac marin Nature Reserve , which belongs to the Guadeloupe National Park. It is almost entirely covered with mangroves and emerges only a few meters from a zone of shoals bounded to the north by the coral reef bar.

With an area of approximately 115 hectares, the Fajou islet is a small uninhabited island, frequented by marine turtles (hawksbill turtle), which come to breed there, a few rare gray rail, and many crabs, notably the land crab, the white crab, the cé-ma-fault crab, the mangrove crab and the circular crab.
